A visitation will be held for friends and family from 2-6pm on Saturday at Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center (4275 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee, Illinois 60031). We understand and lament the restrictions of COVID and invite you for a visit only if you are comfortable. Pete would want it no other way than to dress casually; please join us in celebrating Pete by wearing his signature color: PINK. All guests must follow COVID safety protocols; we ask every visitor to wear a mask at all times. And, it goes without saying, but if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to anyone who is ill, please stay home. We know you are sending your love; we feel it and appreciate it. Thank you for your understanding and shared commitment to honor Pete thoughtfully and safely.

Ongoing Memory Sharing

As a way to create the feelings of togetherness during a pandemic, we invite you to share pictures, memories, and your love virtually. Please feel free to email your photos and stories directly with Pete’s family at olepetekroll@gmail.com. As we will cherish having this collection in the coming days and for years to come.

For those of you hoping to more formally "eulogize" Pete, we invite you to share your thoughts in writing by Friday, December 10th at noon, so that we can compile your beautiful sentiments into a book to be displayed at the visitation and treasured forever. If you were hoping for a little more personality to shine through, feel free to send us a video of your eulogy/toast/roast/memory and we will try to display it in a closed loop on Saturday.
